Hot Dog Cards
Do you know that the temperature inside a parked car can reach 160 degrees within minutes in the summer, even with the windows partially open?

MVHS is helping warn people of the danger to pets of heatstroke or death by providing "Hot Dog Cards." These bright red cards serve as a warning to keep pets at home on hot days. The cards have been distributed to security personel at local shopping centers, and are also available at our front desk. Pick some up today.

Home Alone Cards
If you were in an accident, would law enforcement officers know who to notify about your pets at home alone?

Consider carrying a card in your wallet with people to contact in an emergency, and information about your pets.

MVHS has prepared "Home Alone" cards just for this purpose. The cards have space for contact information of your emergency pet-caregivers and information about your pets, as well as your veterinarian's office, and any special needs your pets may have (such as allergies or required medicines).
