Pet Care Badge Day - for Girl Scouts
Who: Girl Scouts of all ages
When: 2nd Monday of each month 4:15 - 6:15pm.
Where: Minnesota Valley Humane Society, 1313 Highway 13 E, Burnsville, MN 55337
What: Using games, hands-on activities and discussion, students will learn about three of the ten Girl Scout Pet Care Badge topics (such as To Have or Not To Have - picking the right pet, Add It Up - the costs of pet ownership, Staying Healthy, etc.) each session. Girls are required to complete six of the ten topics in order to earn their Pet Care Badge. Topics will be rotated montly. The program will also include a tour of the shelter and the chance to meet and greet some of MVHS's Animal Ambassador teams. Girl Scouts who participate in the program will receive a personalized certificate of completion showing the topics covered.
Cost: $5/one scout, $8/two scouts in a family, $10/three scouts in a family. Pre-registration is required.
To register online, please click here. You must still print and complete a liability waiver to bring to the first session. Please also bring your payment to the first session. To pay by check, please print the registration form and liability waiver, complete them and mail them with your check.

Max/Min: A minimum of 3 students must be registered in order for the program to be held. Maximum class size is 15 students.
