Planned Giving
We created our Heritage Club for Pawsterity in 2003 to show recognition and appreciation to those forward thinking individuals who have included the Minnesota Valley Humane Society in their estate plans.
Many thoughtful people have now shared with us that they have named Minnesota Valley Humane Society as a beneficiary in their estate plans. We list their names in our publications and in our lobby, or they can be listed anonymously.
Having your name added to the growing list will encourage others to follow your lead. We would like to be able to give you recognition and our thanks while you're still around to hear it, and to let you know how honored we are that you've provided for MVHS in the future.
Your thoughtfulness in naming Minnesota Valley Humane Society as a beneficiary of your estate will help us provide services to the Greater South Metro area, long after you are gone.
Becoming part of the Heritage Club for Pawsterity can be as easy as filling out a Change of Beneficiary form for a full or partial share of your IRA, company pension plan, life insurance policy or other estate planning device.
You can also make the Minnesota Valley Humane Society a part of your estate plan by contacting an attorney and add a paragraph to your will naming MVHS as a recipient of a specific amount or a percentage of your estate.
If you have already made MVHS a part of your estate plan, please contact us so we can give you proper recognition and show our appreciation for your thoughtfulness.
