Animal Ambassadors

As part of the volunteer program of MVHS we have established a group of volunteers that attend outreach activities with their own animals as ambassadors for MVHS! At the moment we have over 30 animal ambassadors that visit nursing homes, schools, daycares for both kids and the elderly, various expos and info tables. We have both cats and dogs in the program, but would love to add some other critters, like bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs and so on. If you think that you have a VERY social animal at home that would enjoy meeting many people at least twice a month, OR you'd like to schedule a visit from our animal ambassadors to your facility please contact Rut Newman, Volunteer & Community Outreach Manager at rut@MVHSpets.org.

Bear has been in the prgram since March 2008.  He is one of the most mellow cats you have ever met!

Charlie & Mona have been delighting the community with their visits since 2004!
