Kids Read to Dogs at MVHS' Animal Book Club!

Our first year of Animal Book Club was a huge success!

At Animal Book Club, kids meet with MVHS' Humane Educator and Ambassador Dogs. Book Club Kids begin reading their assigned book to MVHS' Ambassador Dogs at each meeting, then take the book home to finish reading before meeting the next month. All assigned books have an animal theme, and are meant to encourage kids to read more and find joy in doing so.

Animal Book Club in the 2008-2009 school year will take place from 6:30-7:30pm the 1st Monday of each month October through May at the Burnhaven Library in Burnsville.
